It's been a see-saw ride these last 8 years and I'm sure there will be more ups and downs to come. Today, however, I'm optimistic that criminal prosecutions will come. <BR/><BR/>I think the slow release of incriminating documents, each worse than the preceding ones, is beginning to make a difference. <BR/><BR/>It's just little things that give me hope - Applebaum at the Post advocating for prosecutions, WaPo running the torture story Sunday on page A-1 instead of burying it, former Bush officials beginning to desert the sinking Bush ship (Padmanabhan) Cheney & Yoo out there desperately trying to defend their actions. I think we all have to keep working hard on this but I'm encouraged by the cracks in the wall of silence that have begun.<BR/><BR/>pmorlanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
